Has anyone gone from the 3G to the new Composer? If so do you like it better or the same as the 3G? Is it easier to use?

I love my 3G but sometimes I don't like how long it takes me to get everything set with the barrel and the knobs. I thought the new Composer might be quicker to use.

Thanks,
Susan

You will absolutely love the Composer! It is quick and easy to use. The optic swap is that much more of a bonus. Your 3G will gather dust unfortunately.

I went from LB2 to 3G then to Composer. Frankly, to me they are all 3 different beasts. I found it a bit messy when I switched from LB2 to 3G because of the spokes and it felt bigger. My fingers were all over when I first started using the 3G. Then I got used to it, but I still use the LB2 for faster shooting (eg. street shooting). Then comes the composer. First I was a bit clumsy but then got used to it after 1 shoot. The Composer is faster when it comes to focusing but I still love the bending capability of the LB2/3G. In short ... yes ... the Composer is definitely way faster to use compared to the 3G.

Thank you all for replying! It sounds like the Composer will work perfectly for what I want.
