I was finally able to get out for some after dark pics both last night and this morning. The first pic (last night) is not my best but is meant to encourage others to get out and try this technique. (Single optic, f/22, WA lens) The second and third pics were shot this morning with single glass, f/2.8, WA lens, and fog.

Love the light trails left by the cars. Dynamic and colorful result.

Jack - the redish glow of the sodium lights in the fog really elevates the second image ...liking the street lamps joining in the distance to give a greater sense of depth. Very nice image.

Thanks. The light trails should have been continuous rather than broken. I've got to figure out how to slow it down another stop or two. I played with white balance and and kicked Kelvin numbers up a couple hundred, liking the effect that was captured with the town scene.
