Taken with the LBO wide open in full sunlight with 5-stop ND filter. Shadow/highlight adjustment in photoshop. Thanks for looking. --- Rich

Nice colorful shot and I like the way the back wing looks in focus (to a degree). It also has that grainy look of old film.
I was wondering how you added the ND filter? was it a screw on (37mm)?

Rich this is simply beautiful, the colors are so vibrant and I like the graininess.

Rich, interesting effect with that ND filter in full sunlight. What speed were you using with the LBO wide open?

Wonderful colors! Never would have guess this was taken in bright light. The ND filter seems like a good filter to have at hand.

Rich, my NIU alum,

Wow, wow, wow. I think this may be my favorite of everything you have done so far.

Crikey! Looks like a stained glass moth! It's a spectacular effect Rich & great imagination on your part to sense what was there but not there, and how to find it.

Thank you Keith, Scott, Darrell, Susan, Craig, and Paulo for your very kind remarks -- they are appreciated.

Keith -- I used 37mm screw on filters from The Filter Connection [www.2filter.com]

Darrell -- it was taken at ISO 100 at 1/200 sec.

I'm not sure why the grainyness is present unless it is a result in some way from the use of the two ND filters.

Beautiful is the word. The LB0 works great for this.
