Nothing special with these pics, but I thought I'd get a few photos of the beach before Hurricane Fay comes visiting tomorrow night. 6 to 10 inches of rain predicted and moderate wind, so nothing much to worry about. I'm not bothering to board up the windows for this one, but am loading up on calories to ward off starvation by eating lots of ice cream.....just in case. The beach scene shows the tendrils of morning glories which stretch out down the dunes. The orange tape in the background marks a turtle nest. There are usually 15 to 20 of these nests along this area of the beach. Sometimes the bands of clouds associated with hurricanes are clearly defined as the storm approaches or leaves and I'm hoping to get some good pics if that occurs this time. The air will be absolutely pristine clear as the storm leaves and I know that will provide some good opportunities. If all works out well, I'll share.
