I took these last night just after sunset. This shot only lasted for a few seconds before the clouds moved in front of the moon. #1 was with the wide angle lens. 3G, f2.8, ISO 800, 1/30 second.

Darrell,

The waxing crescent moon is always an awesome sight, as evidenced by your very nice Lensbaby images. Exposure and sweet spot are great.

Thanks Rich. Your Big Dipper images inspired me to get out there and look around. Never know, might see something worth shooting.

Great shots... I took a few of the night's sky a few days ago... I was inspired by the night photos recently posted. I won't have time to post until next week.

I like how the moon is framed by the clouds - very nice shots.

Well done Darrell--not an easy thing getting the moon in focus with the LB--and the light has to be just right.

very good framing with the clouds, and the moons reflected light on them. Nice shots.

Darrell,

I noticed your moon image on FILE Magazine. I am sure that you are the most published forum member on FILE. Nice work -- as always.
