I took these last night just after sunset. This shot only lasted for a few seconds before the clouds moved in front of the moon. #1 was with the wide angle lens. 3G, f2.8, ISO 800, 1/30 second.

Darrell,
The waxing crescent moon is always an awesome sight, as evidenced by your very nice Lensbaby images. Exposure and sweet spot are great. Rich |

Thanks Rich. Your Big Dipper images inspired me to get out there and look around. Never know, might see something worth shooting.

Great shots... I took a few of the night's sky a few days ago... I was inspired by the night photos recently posted. I won't have time to post until next week.

I like how the moon is framed by the clouds - very nice shots.

Well done Darrell--not an easy thing getting the moon in focus with the LB--and the light has to be just right.

very good framing with the clouds, and the moons reflected light on them. Nice shots.

Darrell,
I noticed your moon image on FILE Magazine. I am sure that you are the most published forum member on FILE. Nice work -- as always. Rich |
