I often take my camera (and Lensbaby) out while walking the dog.....it forces me to shoot one handed very often.

Sometimes, you get OK shots!

I do as well, here is one of mine. I was sitting on the edge of our koi pond, pulling the plant closer with my left hand and trying to lean over as far as possible without falling in and taking the picture with my right hand. I was using my homemade 150mm enlarging lens stacked on front of my 3G.

One handed *with* an extension? Way too cool!
Nicely done!

Shurla - nice image - don't know if it is supposed to be humorous but it is in a
way.

Thx RHWeiner and kmac,
I think it is funny as well, seems like his head isn't attached to anything.

Here's a fun game to play...

Either lock your 3G in a relaxed position or just leave your 2.0 or LBO relaxed, determine roughly what the focus-distance is, turn on you're motor-drive, then hold the camera at arms-length, point it at something interesting (what isn't when viewed through a lensbaby?!), and start shooting.

I play this game with my daughter. Here's a couple of links:

Easier with the 3G because you can control the point-of-focus, but also possible with the lbo or 2.0.

Got the idea from a post by Ta--I believe she was "shooting from the hip".
