Igor, what a beautiful abstract image. You have a way of taking this effect to its artistic maximum. I wonder about the f8 aperature. Are we seeing a combination of the lensbaby effect mixed with a little motion blur from a slow shutter speed? What ever it is you have made a wonderful photograph.

To rlptrinter: It was a first time when I tried f8. With ISO 800 the shutter speed was very fast. I guess the LB distortion together with fast moving sea gulls created the desired effect. Some image adjustment was done in Photoshop - levels, noise, glow.
