I need the control combinations to use the lensbaby on a Minolta 7d and a sony a100. The list that came with the lens covers every camera minolta ever made except the digtals.

Hi...
Can't speak for the Sony, but on the Maxxum 7D: 1. Go to the menu, then to the folder with the icon that looks like a sunburst. 2. Tab over to subfolder 3, and the top choice should be "Shutter lock" 3. Change that setting from "on" (default) to "off" 4. Mount your LensBaby and rock'n'roll! The default setting is supposed to be a safety feature that keeps you from activating the shutter mechanism with no lens attached -- and since the LensBaby does not "communicate" electronically with your camera, it thinks there's no lens. You would use this same setting to attach the camera to a telescope. Once set, I would just leave it that way, being mindful that releasing the shutter with no lens on increases the chances of getting dust on the CCD protected by the SLR mirror. Hopefully, the Sony version works the same way since it's a carryover of the Maxxum design. |

.....and set the dial to A.
Best to shot RAW images. You will see in the exif data f/1. Cheating is ON.
