I shot this the other day in the studio at 1000 ISO with just the model lights, then added some more saturation, paint daubs filter and a little gausian. The LB effect was apparent from the beginning though. I really like seeing the effect as I create as opposed to thinking I'll do "something" with it later. I knew exaclty what I was going for as I shot it. To me it has the richness and quality of an old masters painting but with a contemporary casual pose and personality.

Are the details in the sweet-spot more obscured by the filter? Would be great to see the eyes at 100% after your painterly filter to see the texture you acheive.

Great portrait. How big would you print it?

Have a super-artistic day.
