I am having the darndest time getting my 10D to work properly in Av mode. I find myself shooting manually and trying to use the LCD as a light meter. When I shoot pure Av the images are way over exposed.

That's because your lensbaby only works in Manual mode... you pretty much need either a handheld light meter or just guess what you think the lighting would be and give it a couple of tries.

Your 10D is very much like my Rebel Digital. My first exposures were about 2/3 of a stop over in Av mode. What I did was set the exposure compensation to -2/3 stop. Now the images are about perfect. Jerry Kelley Post Edited (07-17-04 19:55) |
