My 2nd date with my LB ... this time to meet some ducks ... sweat buckets trying to shoot them ...

These are cool. The color is a little interesting but I like them. Especially the last one with the curious turtle.

What kind of ducks are those? I love shooting wildlife and have never seen these before.

I did convert these in Photoshop to emulate cross-processing. Hehe. I'm a sucker for weird colors.

Ndroo.....very surreal.....the yellow/green hue....some have the feel of watercolors, a liquid illustrative flavor, very NU VUE too.

Wow!! I love these SO much! There has to be a wildlife art competition to enter them in or a Duck Mag that would eat them up! I checked Duck Stamp contest. They are still traditional- tactile "hand drawn" only....for now. But these are seriously so beautiful! They have a classic hand-colored etching or old watercolor feel to them. The colors look perfectly chosen as a pallete. Show up at a Sierra Club photo group and you'll be the hero! Some wildlife mag HAS to publish these!

The two photos with the two ducks (and one turtle) are my favorites. The colors seem a little unreal, but I really like the result in these pictures.

I like this duck pictures (and especially the one with a turtle in the upper corner) - love the colours. Somehow they made me think of China, so it was funny to read the ducks are called Mandarin ducks.
