Hey guys,
I have some questions on the macro converters and macro kit from lensbaby.
As currently I already do own some extension tubes and closeup filters(+10).
How are the lensbaby converters and kit different from them?

I can thoroughly recommend the filters, but the macro kit is on my christmas list!
I'm not sure about the +4 filter, but the +10 filter has a definite concave shape that must complement the focus fall-off you get with a lensbaby. This possibly limits the lensbaby's ability to shift the sweet spot off-centre on the +10, but I've not tested this, so couldn't say. I use the +10 on my olympus Pen kit lens which is also 37mm and achieve a lensbaby effect without even using a lensbaby. I also think the optical quality of these filters is top-notch - well worth paying the £25 it cost me for them both. |
