In the month of July, the Grizzly stocks up on Salmon. Only the mature boars are able to get the best fishing spots by Brooks Falls. Watching them on elevated platforms (regulated by Park Rangers) has become a big business. Luckily, people still realize these animals aren't 'friendly'.

Picture 1 shows arrival by floatplane;
2 and 3 show juvenile bears;
and 4 shows a mature boar at his 'post'.

John--I was using the Single Optic, (and was 3 yards away on an elevated platform). If you google images of Brooks Falls platforms, it'll give you a better idea.
