Lensbaby

Hi Guys, put the muse on the camera for the first time since Xmas. Had forgotten how much I like the muse. I think you see so many more possibilities when using the muse, its just capturing them is the hard part. Fuji S5 muse SW35 and extension tubes.Thanks for looking.tony

Agree--#3 is a winner--Lovely.

Agree about the muse too--I use it almost exclusively--I find myself "bending" the rules a lot more when I use it--and isn't that what this is all a bout?

#3 is stunning! Can you explain what "extension tubes" are and what they do, please? I'm very curious how you got this effect.

Hi Guys, thank you for your kind comments. Sarah , extension tubes are a tube with a male mount at one end & a female mount at the other. They enable you to increase the distance of the optic to the film plane , which in turn enables you to focus closer , ie. macro. With these shots I moved the sweet spot out of frame on a crop frame sensor and focused with what would be considered the wrong portion of the lens. This is why the circles of confusion have taken on a conical shape with lots of chromatic aberration . The down side to this is no where in the frame is really sharp . But what the heck it's a Lensbaby. :) tony
