A continuation of

Heading South and Heading East

Found this one on my hard drive.

A nighthawk this time.

My beloved LBO.

Thanks for looking,

Jonny - exceptionally emotive and atmospheric photo, and I love minimalistic approach, well done!

Question for you - if you've tried the Single Glass optic, how does it compare to LBO?

D

Thanks D. Means a lot!

As to your question, it's hard to say. There are some subtle differences in where the natural focus lies and the softness/shape of the focus-field. Not sure if that makes sense?! There's a subtle difference in the "finger-feel" of the lens while focusing as well. I guess it has to do with the different type of tubing used to hold the optic. For me, the LBO just feels more natural. But then I've more experience with it I guess...

Still learning how to use the Muse...

Thanks for the explanation, Johnny!

Certainly make sense. Feel - completely understand, I, for example, find LB 2.0 more fluid and natural compare to Muse (which is a bit more stiff), but it is just a learning curve for me... My most interest was the optical qualities, there are so many who absolutely love the LBO, and I do enjoy the single glass swap.

Thanks again!

D
