Very Nice D. The single glass has a really nice look in B&W. I think it has something to do with the B&W glow on edges created by the CA. Nice work.tony

Probably my favorite optic D--Works so well in B&W. I almost always shoot RAW...unless my LBO or SG is on and then I actually love the way B&W JPGs come SOOC.

Thank you both, appreciate your comments!
I can definitely see how one can get very well acquainted with this glass for B&W. It definitely speaks unique character! Johnny - I too shoot just about 99% of the time in RAW, but specially love my K20D for its "B&W RAW" setting, where if I like the outcome pretty much "as is" in B&W, I use it as such. But if I wanted to see how it looks in color, I just load it into the CS3, and develop it from RAW (DNG file) For now, I just wish there was more daylight... Regards, D |
