Thanks! These are straight out of the scanner btw, no PS. I love the warm colors you can get with film, digital is just not the same.

Wow Peter, makes you realize what a bad job digital does with its quasi cross-processing. I used to do a lot of this back in the 70.s shooting bands. I also used to run the process that I used to do the cross processing. I wonder if your lab realizes what it does to the process, nothing that can't be fixed with a little 1st dev starter:). Mums the word. Great shots, great color. Look at those highlight graduations, you would have trouble doing that digitally. tony

Thanks Tony! Yeah, aren't the colors to die for? :D I'm having these done down the street at the local drugstore. I don't think they do hardly any film developing besides me and 12 other troglodytes...so you're saying it messes up their C-41 chemicals a little?

Very nice series Peter. Number one becomes a favorite. Thanks for posting these with the narrative. John

Hi Peter, remembering back 30 yrs or so , it was processing Print film that required the shot of starter afterward, print film gave you like a 5x4 tranny from negs, you projected onto it like you would with paper. Cross processing would dirty your process,( if you did to much of it) , We would only do small amounts for a few select clients. It's getting a bit hazy these days.:)tony

I really LOVE these, Peter--Gorgeous, gorgeous colors. Number 1 almost looks like a painting. I didn't know processed slide film produced unique results.
