With the Scout, the sweet spot will be centred all the time. With the Composer you can move it around (but still have it centred like the Scout). If you're wondering which one to buy, I had the same problem. I went with the Composer in the end, it can do everything a Scout can do, and so much more. And if you want to, you can lock the lockring up really tight and it won't bend.

The difference is,basically,that the composer can be tilted.
The optics specs are the same,as the optics for both is the same,and depends on your choice.
