i never tried the Scout, but by judging my experience with the Composer, i would choose the Composer, more freedom. But the Scout exist for a market, theres people that only want the sweet spot at the center of the photo. so my advice is for you to know what you want from a Lensbaby, if only center focus is your main goal, Scout is the way to go, if you want more "freedom", the Composer is a obvious choice.

not sure what do you mean by that.
Each Lensbaby lens comes with a Optic (might be the Double Glass, the Plastic, the Fisheye or the Sweet 35), plus the aperture magnetic rings and the magnetic tool which allows you to exchange the aperture (the magnetic apertures and tool doesnt come with the Sweet 35 since the aperture is adjusted "inside" the lens, like a normal lens sort of speak).

you have more information about the different options of lenses and what each contains (just click on specs) [www.lensbaby.com]

hope it helps, any doubt just ask we (forum members) are pleasant to help you out

yes with every lensbaby lens theres a optic included. regarding the aperture rings and the magnetic tool (only the recent Sweet 35 doesnt have those).
I own a Canon 550D and she loves Lensbaby as i do. lensbaby isnt a toy like some might think or wrongly stereotype lensbaby, its just different and allows you to do stuff others lens dont do. also its very versatile with all its accessories and the way you can mix them together to get different results. is it worth? yes it is! you just have to know if it sues your needs. what do you expect from it? what kind of photography do you want to do?

I think you should get the double glass optic first (some people dont understand that sharpness isnt everything a photographer wants, since the double glass optic is the sharpest its the easiest route to know how the lensbaby works and what it allows you to do) and then get the other optic. thats what i did myself and after that theres no turning back, you become addicted :).

I agree with srpatife, the double glass is very useful for many different tasks.
With the LB,you get à set of aperture rings.

@Superthor : LOL...okay then :)

@srpatife : okay, i need to learn stuff about this lensbaby and its optic. so i will get completely random optic ?

actually, what i want with this lens baby is creating photograph that is yet unique, yet the lens is competible with most situation, like individual photos, group photos.

1 other question, so if i buy composer, i can still change the optic to 12 mm right ?

If you get the Composer the optic that comes with it is the Double Glass Optic (it isnt random, you can check which options are available on the site i previously mentioned).
It all depends where you buy it if they have it in stock and so on.
basicly the options are:
Muse with Double Glass Optic
Muse With Plastic Optic
Composer with Double Glass Optic
Composer Pro with Double Glass Optic
Composer Pro with the Sweet 35 Optic
Control Freak with the Double Glass Optic
Scout with Dougle Glass Optic
Scout with the Fisheye Optic

I think i didnt miss one combination possible.

about the 12mm, i didnt get your question. Lensbaby are 37 mm and you can buy a step up shader which turns 37mm to 52 mm, which allows you use 52 mm filters and so on.

Every Lensbaby Optic are swappable (90% between the different Lensbaby Lenses, i guess only the fisheye isnt compatible with the Lensbaby Muse, actually it is you just have to buy an adapter).

The composer, with tilt ability, has almost unlimited capability.
I use mine for portraits, nature photogaphy, and sometimes for fun photography.
