I'm sure this car is used to being polished. I thought the CA that is produce by this lens was slightly reducing colour contrast in this shot, so here is a copy with the CA removed. Thanks for looking . tony

Tony,

Brings back memories of my first car -- a 1967 red Pontiac GTO with a black vinyl top. Nice image.

Thanks Helen, it was actually copper colour, the digital sensor had trouble with it, film would probably got it spot on. Thanks, Codrin. Nice to hear from you. Kool Rich, mine was a MGA mk1-1956 sold it about 15 yrs ago, bought a heap of Broncolor lighting with it. Thanks Jørgen. Thanks Mark, It does look a bit like a big red balls;-). To me it optimized middle class rock & roll. It is a chopped Hudson, 50 something I guessing around 3 or 4.tony

Very nice photos Tony! Of course now I have that song running through my head...

My first was a 1968 Pontiac Firebird with a 400 cu.in. engine. Loved that car.

Thanks Scott, nice to hear from you. Thanks Bnzai. Thanks Graham.I walked around all day yesterday singing it, even tried reprogramming the brain to "Magic carpet ride" its was just to hard to sing without the music. In 1963 we (my family) drove from NYC to San Fran in an old Oldsmobile.I was somewhere between 6&9. tony
