I travel a lot- spreading the Lensbaby word. It's always nice to get back to a little Oregon tree hugging :-)

Uh ? Is this a riddle or are you talking about the latest and greatest special creative aperture kit shapes ? Is a star brighter then the heart ? I still think Kirsten wants us all to ponder her illuminating answer.....hee :)) |

The Soft Focus optic comes with 3 custom "imagon" apertures. I am using the brightest of those.

I just know I love that particular shade of green (i think its part smell, part sight, part feel) that you only see in a temperate rain-forest. Well captured and excellent choice of optics.

Beautiful photos, Kirsten! My favorite is 3, though 2 comes as a close second.
Question: On 3, what was the shutter speed? There's a water fall near here (Great Falls on the Potomac River), and I typically use between 1/10 and 1/3 second to get my desired effect. I'll guess you used something around 1/30 second, yes? Graham |

Hi Graham,
#3 was actually taken at 1/250s at ISO 400. The Soft Focus optic makes it glow like that. No filter- no Photoshop :-) Kirsten Hunter Director of Customer Happiness See more of my work on my blog: [www.livefrombeechstreet.blogspot.com] |
