The Lensbaby crew enjoyed a night out in Nashville this evening.

Did some playing with my D700 and fisheye at f4.

The last one is a five exposure in-camera multiple exposure.

Thanks for looking.

Do I detect a maybe a bit of Boot Scooting and they are hire boots for those who don't come equipped with their own? Sorta like 10 pin bowling. Do you allow your employees to use Canons? ;-) tony

Thanks for the comments. I do love my fisheye optic.

David, what a drag to have missed this opportunity. I would have loved to connect. I am on the road a lot every spring and I forget that there are opportunities besides at trade shows to invite friends to join the Lensbaby team after the shows.

The more I use my Fisheye, the more I love the flare around the frame, your boot image is a perfect example of how it can add to an image, Craig. All three of these are great!

The multiple exposure was the first I'd done with my D700. I turned off auto gain which I would guess is for when you are photographing basically the same scene multiple times and need the exposure bumped down to compensate for multiple exposures. At any rate, trying it with auto gain turned on made for a very dark image, despite the individual shots that make up the final image being correctly exposed.

Kathleen, great to hear that the edge effects on the fisheye are winning you over. I seem to remember that you did not connect with the edge flare at first. Neither did I. Then I had one or two images where the edges made the shot and realized that I could mask and darken the edges of the ones where it was a problem (I haven't had to do that fix yet) so I called our supplier off of the fix to eliminate the flare in what would normally be the black border.

I do enjoy the freedom that the big lens manufacturers have given Lensbaby to explore what, besides their definition of technical perfection, can be done to make optics that produce unique and powerful images.
