Lensbaby

COMMUNICATION is the subject, interpret that how you will but it must be some form of communication. It could be a telephone, typewriter, radio, 2 tin cans and string or something written.

Usual rules apply, wishing you all the luck you need.

Photo Submissions:

1. Camera - Any Camera (with LB attached)
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Post-Processing - do whatever you like and the judge will decide if it works.
4. Posting - * Photo Name in the message subject line.* Camera model & Lensbaby used.* Notes -- post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting - No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Have FUN!

One challenge every week, on the following schedule:

* New Topic - After winner is declared.
* Posting Starts - Right after topic is announced.
* Posting Ends- 3.30pm PDT/11.30pm GMT (Pacific Time) Tuesday, August 4th, 2009
* Winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
* Winner from this competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after this competition is closed.

Shot through steel cage to prevent shock.

Wow, now I know what others said about how hard it is to judge and make a choice. All were great shots and enjoyed them all.

OK here goes:

3rd place I have to say it is kind of a tie.
Universal Language by jbrunjes - I liked the concept and composition also it was hard to pass up the look of the cat in Are you talkin to me by jonwaz

2nd place - On the air by Bob Layne, I liked the picture plus the texture he added.

1st place goes to Radio Telescope by williame, I liked the polarized effect and nice composition. All yours for the next round.

Again all were fantastic shots and interesting concepts. Great job!!! Sorry I couldn't pick everyone.

Congratulations to William E! I completely agree with your choice Keith. That image blew me away, definitely one of the best images I have seen with any Lensbaby period.
