Kim (kmac) is going to be away for the judging period of this weeks competition so I have been asked to present the competition on behalf.
STATIC STEEL is the subject, interpret that how you will but it must be steel and it must be static.
I have noticed a lack of EXIF data lately and while I won't penalize it does help everyone to learn and gain something from the game.
Usual rules apply, wishing you all the luck you need.
Photo Submissions:
1. Camera - Any Camera (with LB attached)
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Post-Processing - do whatever you like and the judge will decide if it works.
4. Posting - * Photo Name in the message subject line.* Camera model & Lensbaby used.* Notes -- post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting - No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Have FUN!
8. Good luck to everyone.
One challenge every week, on the following schedule:
* New Topic - After winner is declared.
* Posting Starts - Right after topic is announced.
* Posting Ends- 3.30pm PDT/11.30pm GMT (Pacific Time) Monday, July 27th, 2009
* Winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
* Winner from this competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after this competition is closed.

the time has come the walrus said,
These are all a fantastic bunch of images, and judging the winner has not been easy.
I am awarding 3rd place to-
Va Girl for the really lovely image of the iron work chair and the daisies. A really delicate image given the theme - Well Done
2nd place to -
David Morel for Wharf Market Steel. I love the strong architectural lines and the way you've handled a challenging exposure. - Well Done
AND THE WINNER IS -
Keithnc for Infra Red train tracks. The symmetry of the tracks, the appropriateness of infra red and the way it draws eye into the image my made it a winner for me.
Congratulations to you Keith and to all the entries for embracing the subject and submitting such high standard images.
Over to you Keith and
Cheers
