This week's challenge: FLIGHT
Please interpret in any and all fashion.
Remember...you need not wings to fly necessarily.
Looking for originality as it applies to the subject in its broadest terms...abstracts welcomed...encouraged.

Photo Submissions:

1. Camera - Any Camera (with LB attached)
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Post-Processing - do whatever you like and the judge will decide if it works.
4. Posting - * Photo Name in the message subject line.* Camera model & Lensbaby used.* Notes -- post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting - No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Have FUN!
8. Good luck to everyone.

One challenge every week, on the following schedule:

* New Topic - After winner is declared.
* Posting Starts - Right after topic is announced.
* Posting Ends-10 pm PDT (Pacific Time) Friday, June 19, 2009
* Winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
* Winner from this competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after this competition is closed.

Sorry for the delay folks...we shot a wedding last night and I am very totally exhausted in mind and body...but..

Thanks everyone for the submissions, and the unique approach to the challenge! Very difficult to decide, love 'em all.

3rd place goes to Mary for the total abstract feel of flight..beautiful colors and rhythm

2nd place goes to Joseph with his abstractive approach to the work..way to think outside the box! An excellent example of the LB's ability to depict movement.

1st place goes to agroupuk...a masterful image of color and softened background. As well, an excellent example showing the power of the suggested form lay not always in the "focus" but in its relation to the moment....
Bravo!

thanks all!

Wow, I won.

Never expected that considering how good everyone else's stuff was.

Great pictures all!

Now what do I do? :) (I am new on the forum so...)

Cheers all.
