#1 -- Plastic Optic Wide Open
#2 -- Single Glass Wide Open
#3 -- Single Glass at f/5.6
#5 -- Double Glass at f/5.6
Since these buds are basically white, I did these in B&W as I wanted to concentrate on form and not place any emphasis on color. Does a particular optic provide a more pleasing dogwood image to you than the other optics used? Your opinions are greatly valued. Have a great day. Thanks for looking/commenting.

Hey Rich Nice feel. Thanks for showing how different optics handle same subject . I have LB2& 3 , which seem to have same optics. Have been trying to simulate plastic with them but can't quite seem to get it. Now at least I can see the difference , Ta. Tony.

Thanks, Rich. This comparison is very helpful to a newbie like me. I love the dreaminess of #1 the plastic optic gives and the slight softness of #3 from the single optic. (Now I need to go out and play with all my optics!!)

They look great, I like the halo effect of the single glass wide open and the double glass shot. But they were all great and it was hard to choose.

I like the differences Rich. I think I like the double glass wide open and the single glass with a disk inserted.

Thanks Don. I really enjoy trying different optics on any given subject. Takes time, but often proves well worth the effort.

Hey Rich,
I particularly like the glow of #1, plus the dark diagonal lines formed from the spaces between the petals. Mary
