Canon extender EF 1.4 + Composer Pro with Double Glass + Macro

I thought I saw that you could attach the extender 1.4 to the Composer Pro with Double Glass + the Macro lens stacked. When I try this I keep getting an error from my camera which is the Canon 5D Mark II. Is it possible to attach the extender with the Composer Pro?
