Trying to focus using LiveView on 5DM3 and the screen is way too dark.

I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I didn't have this issue on my 5dM2 and I don't have it with other lenses, but when I put the lensbaby on my 5dm3, and press liveview, it's almost pitch black. To allow me to see much, I have change the settings so that it's so overexposed.

Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong? It takes the picture fine without liveview, but I have a hard time focusing without liveview and zooming in.
