Leaves still not turning so B/W

We went for a small walk up the valley so that the dog could get very muddy and very smelly, its what he does when we go to Cwm Gwaun, the leaves are still not turning so the B/W option shot in colour using a polarizing filter to get some punch.
Processing was to B/W in Raw and Duotone in PS. That was it no levels or curves or dodging or cloning but the shadow at the bottom of the main tree looks like a scottie dog and is pissing me off.

John, I wouldn't be to worried about the scottie on the right on the first frame I'd be more concerned with the Manx on left of frame, cats are an environmental nightmare. But then, I'm just a frog. tony
