how to get up close?

I'm eagerly awaiting my lensbaby (I just ordered it yesterday), I read somewhere you can also pull the lens to focus closer? How close is closest, aka how far can you stretch it??

thanks!
Marco.. waiting for his lensbaby

Now, talk about fast shipment!
First impression is that it is of quite high quality.
tomorrow I'm going to try it (results here :))
What is really cool is that my 37mm IR filter fits (which I used on my coolpix).. let's see what a lensbaby plus IR does tomorrow.

Marco,

You may have gotten your answer by now in the form of the real deal but here is my 2 cents.

I can easily get to about 5 inches from the front of the lens.

You can yank on it all you want (within reason) and there should not be any problem with compromising the structure of your Lensbaby.

Have a beautiful day.
