• Intro

  When a Creative Aperture disk is used with a Lensbaby SLR lens, the shape cut into the aperture disk will appear in the photograph anywhere bright points of light are out of focus (ie, decorative lights at night.)

  With the Creative Aperture Kit 2, you have 9 pre-cut shapes to play with. Want to create your own? The Blank Aperture set is the right one for you - you can custom cut your disks into any aperture shape you want.

• How To Use

  Creative aperture disks are meant to be dropped into your Lensbaby optic in place of one of the round hole aperture disks that come with all Lensbaby optics.

  Just make sure to place some of these bright points of light in the blurry part of the image (not the sweet spot of focus) – otherwise those cool shapes won’t appear. The more you bend and blur your image, the more pronounced these shapes become.

  Our Creative Aperture Kit 2 contains 9 pre-cut shapes (shown below) for you to enjoy. If you'd prefer to make your own from blanks, use craft store hole punches or an exacto knife.
